"Go Outside," cults(weekly tape deck mp3)
though they have thus far only released three tracks ( and three tracks marked release date: 2012, at that ) i am already quite certain that cults will be a favorite of mine for much time to come. the childish, airy vocals and ethereal beat of "go outside" feel like spectacular summer. i guarantee the song will help make the remainder of the school ( or work ) year seem much shorter.

and with a fantastic tune for you all.
an already beautiful song with a lovely twist. a bit mellower, with a twinge of melancholy almost... but only in a way that evokes a sense of longing, not loss... perhaps as with a long distance relationship with someone you care more about than anything and just want to see, need to see, right in this moment, right in every moment, in order to truly feel "home."
i dunno. somethin' like that.

instructions:
1. select method of listening (highly recommended: "grand" by matt & kim vinyl; if no access to the aforementioned exists, speakers/computer/whatever will have to do. oh, a walkman might be a fun alternative...)
2. turn up volume to maximum (tolerable) level (might want to be careful if taking the walkman route... or not. your ears are probably ruined from concerts and/or your own playing anyway)
3. dance around room; clean room if messy, m & k will keep you motivated aka this is a prime time to put all those clothes on your floor in the laundry/closet
4. keep dancing
